Mojo Monday Cards

So my fellow crafter and blogger over at Celebrate Crafts introduced me to a new challenge blog called Mojo Monday. Each Monday a new card sketch is posted and challengers have one week to complete the sketch. This week's challenge was to create either a square or a round card using the sketch provided.

I decided to work both sketches. Here are my takes:

Round Card: Card was cut from the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge at 4.25in as well as the black out done in the red of the same image and size. Inner circles were cut from the George cartridge at 3, 2, and 1.5 inches. Papers used are from DCWV Stack 7. Stamps are Studio G and Martha Stewart. Flower unknown.
Square Card: Measures 4.25x4.25 inches. Paper used is from My Mind's Eye, Garden Vignettes. Stamps are Studio G and Close to My Heart. Flourish is a brad, maker unknown.
Thanks for peeking!

Pink Stamper's Christmas Card Challenge

Hey there my friends. Just thought I would stop by and post a few Christmas Cards that I made for a recent challenge from The Pink Stamper.

The first card uses traditional Christmas colors of red, green, and gold. The base of the card is from DCWV, as for the rest of the card it was made from scraps . I have no idea of the manufacturers of the other products.
I love using more of the non-traditional colors for my holiday cards. Pinks, blues, purples and bright greens. In the next two cards I used the Mr. Frosty Imagine Cartridge.

In the first card I used some misc. items such as ribbon, glitter, and added some neat silver accents using Dazzles.

The second card was made with just the Cricut Imagine. I used the Mr. Frosty cart along with regular carts, Wild Card and Christmas.

Will be making plenty more in the week's to come. Please check out my Etsy store if you are interested in any of the above cards!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Welcome to December, my favorite month of the year. It always goes by way to fast. I love to spend time decorating and making gifts for friends and family.

This year I have discovered vinyl, glass, and etching.....ADDICTION!!!
I made this cute little glass block for a dear friend of mine. I am happy to say she loved it!

I used Design Studio and the font from Wild Card to make the saying out of vinyl. I first cut a large snowflake from contact paper and used it as a stencil to make the blue snowflake in the background. This was created using Alcohol Inks. Then I added the phrase, "Snowmen fall from Heaven unassembled." A little ribbon bow and a cute little Snowman riding a sled finished off this cute little lamp. It is lit with a single 50 ct strand of mini lights.

I have made some other cute items, but can't post them until after the holidays.
