So I have only been at this DT thing for a little over a week. I am having so much fun playing with all these images. I LOVE the versatility of Digital Stamps! I love that I can make them any color, but you can do that with traditional stamps as well. My favorite part is that I can make them any size!
For my latest project, and also a challenge this month at Have Your Way With Paper, I decided to make a Mother's Day card for my mother in law. This mpnth's challenge is to make a card that is NOT a square or rectangle. Flowers pots are round right??? I got the idea from a fellow blogger, Shanna. She found the idea from another blogger, Stephanie Luman, where the directions for this wonderful card can be found. This card was so easy thanks to the step by step on Stephanie's blog!
For my card:
Patterned Paper: The Paper Element, unknown
Cardstock: White Bazzill
Digital Stamps: Daffodil #1 from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Printed in 3 different sizes then colored with colored pencils.
Royalcoat Dimensional Magic
Ribbon, tag, and gem unknown
Journal Block: Autumn Leaves stitched jounaling panels
Leaves were cut from the Graphically Speaking Cricut CartridgeHappy Mother's Day to ME!!
My wonderful husband and son surprised me this morning with my Mother's Day gift since he has to work tomorrow. What did I get? What every design team member needs of course. MARKERS! I got a set of Bic Mark-Its. Set of 36 with a wide array of wonderful colors. Though I am upset, I have to take them back. 2 of the 36 are dried out! :( Will get me some new ones, and start playing soon!
To all the other Mama's out there, Have a Wonderful Mother's Day! Let those babies spoil you for a change!
